Tax Relief for Job Creators: Stop Punishing the Backbone of Our Economy

Small business owners are overtaxed in the United States.
Small business owners are overtaxed in the United States.

You can’t build a strong economy by punishing the people who create jobs. Yet that’s exactly what Washington’s tax code has done for decades. If you’re a massive multinational with offices in five countries, you get loopholes. But if you’re a local small business owner in District 30? You get taxed, regulated, and audited into the ground.

It’s time for a tax code that favors the people who live here, hire here, and reinvest here.

Here’s what I’m proposing:

  • Eliminate the federal income tax on the first $450,000 of small business profit—because Main Street isn’t Wall Street.

  • A flat consumption tax on high-end corporate purchases, replacing the endless maze of write-offs and deductions that only the big boys can navigate.

  • Incentives for hiring locally and investing in workforce training—if a business creates upward mobility, they should get rewarded for it.

  • Permanent tax credits for veteran-owned businesses, especially in underserved areas.

We need a tax system that reflects our values. I’m not here to subsidize lobbyists and consultants in D.C.—I’m here to put your money back into your pocket and make it easier for regular people to build something of their own.

A strong nation is built on strong local businesses. When we lift that burden, we don’t just grow the economy—we grow hope, independence, and ownership in our communities.
