Economic Opportunity Plan for TX-30

Close-Up of Dollar

America works best when hardworking people have the freedom to start businesses, earn good wages, and build wealth for their families.

For too long, TX-30 has been held back by bureaucracy, limited investment, and a broken workforce pipeline.

As your Congressman, I will focus on five practical solutions to unlock opportunity in our communities.

1. Cut Red Tape for Small Businesses

Small businesses create most new jobs in America, yet they are drowning in regulations.

I will push legislation that:
• Simplifies federal reporting requirements
• Reduces unnecessary regulatory burdens
• Makes it easier for entrepreneurs to start and grow businesses

When small businesses grow, communities grow.

2. Expand Access to Startup and Growth Capital

Many entrepreneurs in TX-30 have great ideas but lack access to funding.

I will work to:
• Expand responsible SBA lending programs
• Increase micro-loan opportunities for first-time entrepreneurs
• Improve transparency so federal funding reaches real businesses instead of insiders

Opportunity should depend on work ethic and ideas—not connections.

3. Build a Trades & Apprenticeship Pipeline

Not every young person needs a four-year degree. America needs skilled trades.

I will support policies that:
• Expand apprenticeships and trade training
• Connect employers with workforce programs
• Partner with community colleges and training centers

This will create good-paying careers without crushing student debt.

4. Open Federal Contracting to Local Businesses

The federal government spends billions every year, but small local companies rarely benefit.

I will fight to:
• Make federal contracts easier for small businesses to win
• Break up massive contracts that exclude local firms
• Ensure small businesses get paid quickly for their work

Taxpayer dollars should strengthen American communities.

5. Invest in Underserved Communities

Some neighborhoods in TX-30 have been overlooked for decades.

I will work to:
• Encourage responsible investment in struggling areas
• Support housing and economic development initiatives
• Attract businesses that bring jobs and opportunity

Every neighborhood deserves a fair shot at prosperity.

The Goal

A stronger TX-30 where:
• Families can earn higher wages
• Young people have real career pathways
• Entrepreneurs can start and grow businesses
• Communities can build generational wealth

FAITH. FAMILY.
FREEDOM. OPPORTUNITY.
