Justice That’s Firm, Fair, and Future-Focused: A New Era for American Law and Order

It's time for fair and equal justice in America.
It's time for fair and equal justice in America.

Our criminal justice system is broken—but it’s not broken in just one direction. It’s broken in every direction.

We’ve got non-violent marijuana users serving time while child predators, cartel traffickers, and repeat border violators manipulate loopholes and walk free.

We’ve got good cops burning out, quitting the force, or getting smeared for the mistakes of others.

And we’ve got civil forfeiture laws being abused in ways that would make a communist blush.

It’s time to rethink justice from the ground up—with principles, not politics.

Here’s where I stand:

1. Full Federal Legalization of Marijuana

We have entire industries now operating legally in some states while people in other states rot in prison for the same behavior. That’s hypocrisy—not justice.

Legalize cannabis at the federal level. Regulate it. Tax it smartly. Expunge non-violent convictions tied to simple possession. Let states maintain control over zoning and local use, but end the federal two-facedness.

2. Hard Time for the Truly Dangerous

We must reserve the strongest punishment for the most irredeemable acts:

  • Sexual predators who harm children should face mandatory life sentences with no parole.

  • Cartel affiliates and smugglers who traffic human beings or fentanyl across our borders should face enhanced federal sentences and immediate asset seizure.

  • Illegal re-entry after deportation for a serious offense should be treated as a felony—not a slap on the wrist.

We cannot be a just nation if the innocent suffer more than the guilty.

3. Protect Good Law Enforcement, Reform the Bad

I back the badge. But I also back the Constitution.

We must protect honorable officers while rooting out the dishonorable with transparency and urgency.

I’ll fight for:

  • Federal civil liability protection for officers cleared of misconduct through internal review and bodycam evidence.

  • A National Law Enforcement Pipeline Program to recruit, train, and elevate officers from diverse backgrounds who reflect the communities they serve.

  • National hiring incentives for bilingual and community-rooted recruits, especially in underserved and rural jurisdictions.

4. End the Civil Forfeiture Circus

Right now, property can be taken without a conviction—or even a charge. That’s not policing. That’s looting under color of law.

I’ll push for:

  • A National Civil Asset Forfeiture Standard: No seizures without a conviction. Period.

  • Full public transparency dashboards showing every federal seizure by zip code, asset type, and case status.

  • Shared oversight with local citizen review boards before funds are spent by agencies.

We must be able to say with confidence: Justice is being served, not sold.
