Fix the Family, Fix the Future: Rebuilding the American Household with Common Sense and Courage

The traditional American family is under attack from the left.
The traditional American family is under attack from the left.

Let’s not dance around it—the American family is in crisis, and that crisis didn’t happen by accident.

It was engineered.

Engineered by liberal policies that reward fatherlessness.

Engineered by a media culture that ridiculed discipline, blurred gender lines, and replaced tradition with trend.

Engineered by decades of subtle but relentless attacks on the very conservative values that once uplifted our communities—faith, marriage, honor, respect for elders, and personal responsibility.

The result?

  • Fatherless homes.

  • Sky-high divorce rates.

  • Children more influenced by TikTok than by their own parents.

  • And a justice system that punishes discipline instead of delinquency.

It’s time to reverse course—before the damage becomes permanent.

Here’s what I’ll push for in Congress:

1. Make Divorce Less Financially Lucrative

Too many marriages are broken for convenience—not crisis. And the legal system often rewards destruction over reconciliation.

I’ll push for:

  • Caps on alimony duration for non-abuse cases.

  • Tax penalties for no-fault divorces involving minor children, unless both parties waive them.

  • Marriage counseling tax credits, especially for first-time couples.

We need to make it easier to stay together than to break apart.

2. Restore Parental Authority and Respect

If a parent can’t discipline their own child without risking arrest, then the state has already claimed your household.

I will support:

  • Parental discipline protections, shielding guardians from criminal charges for non-abusive correction.

  • A national “Family First” policy framework that ensures schools, CPS, and police prioritize parental rights in all family-related matters.

Families must reclaim the right to raise their children in line with their own values and cultural heritage—not the latest political fad.

3. Affirm Traditional Gender Roles and Responsibilities

Call it old school, but in my house—and in many homes across America—men are men, and women are women.

That doesn’t mean inequality. It means complementary roles, mutual respect, and moral clarity.

I’ll stand against radical gender ideology being taught in schools and pushed through federal agencies.

I will protect women's sports, restore biological truth in law, and push for mental health support—not manipulation—for children confused by cultural noise.

4. Bring Back the Family Reunion

We need more than policies—we need traditions.

We need to reunite as family in America.
We need to reunite as family in America.

I want to see families reconnect, tell their stories, learn their history, and rebuild the bonds that held us together when times were harder than they are now.

To that end, I’ll sponsor:

  • Federal grants for family reunions and heritage events focused on at-risk communities.

  • A National Family Legacy Week, where schools and churches are encouraged to teach family history, respect for elders, and American cultural identity.

Because the greatest education doesn’t always come from textbooks—it comes from Grandma’s porch, Uncle Joe’s life lessons, and shared family tables.

The old folks used to say, “You don’t throw away the plow when the soil gets hard.”

Well, America’s soil is hard right now—but that just means it’s time to dig deeper.
