Border Security Is Public Safety: No More Escaping Justice

No nation can survive without secure borders.

There’s a hole in our system—and I know it personally.I lost a cousin—a hard-working young man—who was walking home from work when he was struck and killed by a drunk driver. That driver didn’t face a jury. She didn’t serve a day. She fled across our southern border to Mexico... and justice fled with her.

That’s not just a tragedy. That’s an indictment of our broken border system.

Border security is not just a matter of immigration—it’s a matter of public safety, justice, and national dignity. You can’t have law and order if criminals can skip town and vanish across a porous border.

That's why my plan for border security goes beyond slogans and focuses on permanent, intelligent infrastructure. I’m calling for a “Golden Dome” security model—a layered system built to detect, deter, and defend:

• More Border Patrol agents with the resources and support they need.

• High-altitude surveillance drones flying regular patrols across vulnerable corridors.

• Smart towers and AI-powered cameras that track movements in real time.

• Physical barriers at high-traffic smuggling points, including trenches, fences, and vehicle-stopping tech.

• A cross-border fugitive enforcement agreement that ensures those who commit crimes on U.S. soil don’t get a passport to freedom just by fleeing south.

But let’s be serious--no wall works without political will. And Congress has lacked the backbone. Too many are scared to offend activists or foreign lobbyists. Me? I’m not here to win cocktail party invites. I’m here to protect American lives.

It’s time to flip the script. The question should no longer be, “How do we help people break in?”It should be, “How do we protect the people already here?”

Our border is a front line—not a suggestion. And every American life lost due to border negligence is a life we must honor with action.
